about GO ELECTRIC

 This scheme to promote the use of electric boats on the Broads is organised by the Broads Society with the support of the Electric Boat Association.

Funding

Funding is coming from:

• Broads & Rivers LEADER+, which is funded by the European Agriculture Guidance & Guarantee Fund, EEDA, Norfolk County Council, DEFRA, South Norfolk Council, North Norfolk District Council, Broadland District Council, Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

· The Broads Authority, Sustainable Development Fund. This money comes from the Department of Environment, Agriculture and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

The grants will be administered over a two-year period ending in March 2006 by a sub-committee of the Broads Society comprising Tony Fogarty, Peter Howe and Albert Lambert. They can be contacted by phone or email to discuss the project.
