Applying for a grant
Grants are available for eligible boats over a two-year period, starting in 2004, and we aim to convert a total of 18 boats; 8 in the first year and 10 in the second, which ends on 31 March 2006.
If you are interested in applying, first you need to contact us to discuss the details of your boat, and arrange to see a boat that has already been converted. If you want to proceed, we will arrange a drag test, after which you can arrange for a boatyard to do the conversion. At the same time you will need to make a formal application for a grant.
